Spreading Love & Support within the…

We’re absolutely thrilled to share some heartwarming news that exemplifies the true spirit of solidarity and compassion within the NE FL autism community. 🧡💙

Recently, a fishing tournament was organized by Johnny Cassara to help with the purchase of a service dog for a deserving little boy, Asher Hill. Asher is 3 years old and has a rare disorder that has led to autism and daily seizures. A service dog would warn Asher’s parents when he is having seizures. Thanks to all the participants, sponsors, and donors , Asher will be receiving his service dog!
The tournament exceeded the goal for the purchase of the service dog. Asher’s parents and the two winners of the tournament decided to pay it forward and donate the remaining earnings to another autism organization. At that moment, Johnny knew just who to call, Michelle Dunham! JSA is honored to be the recipient of the remaining donations and we are more than thrilled that Asher will receive his service dog…this will be life changing for him!

We want to extend a special shout-out and a big THANK YOU to the organizers, Louis Joseph, Jason Schmermund, Johnny Cassara, and the Hill Family in making this gesture possible. Your decision to pay it forward and share the proceeds will undoubtedly create a ripple effect of positive change, benefiting even more individuals on the autism spectrum. This is AUTISM IN ACTION!
Let this heartwarming example inspire us to find more ways to support each other, not just within our respective organizations but also in our day-to-day lives. Every act of kindness, big or small, can have a profound impact on someone’s journey. #autisminaction #jsakids #communitysupport #fishingcommunity
