1 in 36 Campaign

1 in JSA School Exterior Picture36 Campus Expansion Campaign

In 2005, when Mark & Michelle Dunham founded the school for their son Nicholas, about 1 in 250 children were diagnosed with autism. Today, 1 in 36 children are diagnosed with autism according to the CDC. *   These numbers are staggering.

To meet the needs of these ever-growing numbers, JSA will expand into our front campus building. This expansion will split the school into a Lower school and Upper school as well as provide space to support the micro-enterprises of our STEP Vocation Program.

This program would offer the following integrative services:

Lower School & Upper School

  •  Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Early Childhood Development
  • K-12
  • Social/Academic
  • Enrichment ~ Music, Art, Adaptive PE

STEP Vocation & Transition Program

  •  Pre-Vocation
  • Vocation
  • Post Vocation
  • Employment Training
  • Social Programs
  • Community Engagement
