We understand that raising a child with special needs can be expensive. For some families, finding the right scholarship may help offset the cost of private education. Here you can learn more about the available payment sources.

 

Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA)

Provides eligible students a scholarship that can be used to purchase approved services or products in order to design a customized educational program for the student. Jacksonville School for Autism adheres to the Code of Ethics established for Florida certified educators is available on the Office of Professional Practices Services WebsiteThe private school standards of ethical conduct must establish the duty to report, and procedures for reporting, alleged employee or administrator misconduct that affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.   At any time, the Abuse Hot-line can be called to report any misconduct. Examples of misconduct include obscene language, drug and alcohol use, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating or testing violations, physical aggression, and accepting or offering favors. Policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student are posted for employees.

Reporting Child Abuse, Abandonment or Neglect

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Insurance Reimbursement

ABA Insurance Reimbursement is available with most major, private insurance plans that offer coverage for ABA therapy for autism.

Please note that JSA is not a Medicaid service provider. If you need additional assistance, the JSA Admissions staff can discuss tuition estimates with you based on program placement. Give us a call or send a message through our contact form.
