It was A NOT SO SILENT NIGHT at JSA today as we held our annual Christmas Program orchestrated by our Autism Angel and Music Director, Mrs. Twila Miller. Mrs. Twila and her JSA Performance Committee Elves outdid themselves this year with a full ensemble cast including a ballerina, theatrical reading and unique holiday performance by our 9 student guitar group. JSA students and staff worked very hard this year to present families with a festive holiday production based on the story T’was the Night Before Christmas with a touch of the Nutcracker and Silent Night. We are so proud of all our students…they did an AMAZING job being on stage, keeping calm bodies and being focused. From playing guitars to singing solos, the JSA students nailed it!
We had a very special surprise guest join us today! Can you guess who it was? That’s right…Santa himself came to JSA! The students and staff enjoyed photos with Santa, telling him their Christmas wishes and receiving a gift. Thank you, Santa for brightening the day for the students, they had a jolly good time!
We would like to thank the following people for making this year’s Christmas program phenomenal:
