At Jacksonville School for Autism, our Music Therapy program uses the power of rhythm, melody, and movement to help students build essential communication, motor, and social-emotional skills. Guided by a board-certified music therapist, sessions incorporate singing, instrument play, movement, and sensory-friendly musical activities tailored to each learner’s needs.
Music provides a motivating, joyful way for students to express themselves, strengthen connections, and practice skills that support success across all environments. Whether keeping a steady beat, taking turns on an instrument, or finding their voice through song, our students experience growth, confidence, and creativity through the therapeutic use of music.
This dynamic program is an important part of JSA’s whole-child approach, helping each student discover new ways to learn, connect, and shine.
