THE PLAYERS Donates New Bus to…

After recently submitting grants for new buses that will transport our WELL-DESERVING, hard-working vocational students to and from their various job sites every single day, the incredible Red Coat members at THE PLAYERS donated a brand-new bus to JSA!

The big surprise came during a ceremony at City Hall as Mayor Lenny Curry proclaimed July 13, 2018 as “THE PLAYERS Championship Charity Day” in celebration of reaching $100 million in total charitable donations. Since its inception, THE PLAYERS has donated money to local non-profits that promote youth education, health and wellness, and character development.

This has been a huge need for JSA as our vocational students travel to and from multiple job sites every day during the school year. Now our staff members will be able to transport students safely and more efficiently to these job sites!

THANK YOU to the Red Coat Grant Committee and each of the staff members at THE PLAYERS for your ongoing support of JSA! You are truly making a difference in the lives of children and adults with autism in Northeast Florida!
