Why Our Luminary Kits Are Now $14 – And Why It Matters

At Jacksonville School for Autism (JSA), our Luminary Kits are more than a holiday tradition—they are a beacon of hope, possibility, and community. Each glowing light represents the creativity, hard work, and dedication of our students, families, and staff.

This year, we’ve made a small price adjustment—from $12 to $14 per kit. Here’s why:

Rising Material Costs – Quality bags, candles, and sand have increased in price, and we refuse to cut corners on the craftsmanship and beauty of your luminaries.

Student-Centered Labor – Every kit is carefully assembled by our STEP (Student Transition & Enrichment Program) participants, who gain real-world job skills while preparing each set. The added $2 directly reflects the value of their work and training.

Supporting a Mission That Matters – Every dollar from your purchase fuels programs that help children and young adults with autism thrive—on campus, at work, and in their community.
