Curtis Hazel

Curtis was born in Jacksonville, Fl and graduated from The Bolles School in 1992. He attended The University of Florida, and a study abroad program through Florida State University in London, UK where he finished top of his class. Curtis graduated from The University of North Florida in 1998 with a degree in Business Management and a minor in International Business.

Curtis began his insurance career with The St. Paul Insurance Company in Atlanta, working as an assistant in their Commercial Underwriting Division. He returned to Jacksonville in 1999, and began working for Insurance Resource Alliance, Inc. as a registered representative, specializing in life insurance, long-term care, and financial products. Curtis began working with his family’s business, Greene-Hazel & Associates in 2001. While there, Curtis developed an expertise in commercial property & casualty insurance and risk management. Recognizing a change in the marketplace and capitalizing on his experience, Curtis launched his own firm, Hazel Partners LLC in 2011. Hazel Partners LLC is an insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm located in St Augustine, Fl.

Curtis is involved in a number of community service and volunteer activities. He currently serves on the board for the following organizations; The Jacksonville School for Autism, Take Stock in Children, Children’s Safe Passage, River Garden Holding Company and The River Garden Foundation. Curtis is the 2012 Tournament Chairman for THE PLAYERS Championship, where he has proudly served as a volunteer for 18 years.

Curtis lives in St Augustine with his wife, Jenny Hazel, and children, McKenna Hazel and Jackson Hazel.
