Jacksonville School for Autism

2012 Birdies campaign runs from JANUARY 9TH- MAY 9TH

Please help JSA reach our 2012 Goal of $20,000!!

What is BIRDIES FOR CHARITY?

  • THE PLAYERS 2012 will be held the week of May 7th-13th, 2012 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
  • What is a Birdie: A birdie is a shot made by the player that is one less than par. So if you have a hole that is considered a Par 3, it is designed to have 3 shots from tee to the cup. If a player hits the ball in the cup on 2 shots… this is a Birdie (one less than par).
  • The actual tournament days are Thursday-Sunday, May 10th-13th. These four (4) days are the competitive rounds when Birdies made by PGA Players will be counted for The Birdies for Charity Contest.

Birdies for Charity is a contest where you can win a fabulous prize and at the same time, support a deserving local charity of your choice. JSA is one of a group of local charities who are honored to participate in the 2012 Birdies for Charity Campaign.

In 2009, JSA has raised over $35,000 through the Birdies for Charity Campaign.

We hope you will choose to participate and support deserving JSA Kids!

Here's how it works

  1. All donations are made directly to JSA.
  2. Birdies for Charity participants make a minimum donation of $20 to JSA.
  3. All donation amounts are appreciated to help us meet our goal of $20,000.
  4. Guess how many birdies will be made during the competitive rounds of THE PLAYERS 2012. (May 10th-13th)
  5. Guess a Tie-Breaker Question:
    • How many balls will be hit in the water at Hole #17 at THE PLAYERS 2012?
